In April 2004, Pat Gibson who plays for Old Dog in the Ormskirk Quiz League became the fourth person to win a million on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? At 42 he is the youngest ever winner. His success was one of the worst kept secrets as Celador in their wisdom screened two celebrity shows after he had reached £250,000. Pat, originally from Ireland, is a software developer with the Tote based in Wigan. Pat, who is married to Shelagh, has two children, Elizabeth, aged ten, and Noah, aged six. This was his second appearance in the studio, he failed to get out of contestant's row on the first occasion and only managed it on the third attempt when he returned! Having reached the £250,000 mark he still had two lifelines intact, having Asked the Audience on the £64,000 question. For a quiz player of his pedigree he could not have wished for two more straightforward questions on his return to the hotseat. He easily answered the £500,000 question. Although confident about the final question he decided to use his two remaining lifelines, 50/50 and Phone A Friend. The latter turned out to be Mark Kerr whom Pat had helped previously to win £250,000! A full list of Pat's questions follows (answers in red): £100 In children's
