Handicap Cup - Quarter-Finals
Quads started well at Fishermens Rest, extending their 11 points start to 14 after 1 round and led by 2 going into round 7, but the home side finished the stronger and won 48 - 42 led by good scoring from Neil Macaskill 23 and Harry Owen 17 with Steve Redfern 10 leading for Quads. Conceding 7 to Southport Grasshoppers, Aardvarks Zetland produced a strong team performance to take the lead by halfway and finished 46 - 40 ahead led by John Richards and Steve Wilson, both 13, and Dave Leyland 12 with Dave Phillips 12 and Mick Hopkins 10 leading the reply. Receiving 10 at Formby Sports, Mixed Blues were never headed and produced a strong performance to win 47 - 42 led by Bill Morris 15 with Sheila Tickle 15 leading for the Formby side. Receiving one point, MPs just pipped E Street Band 31 - 29 led by Dan Evans 11 with Alan Wright 10 leading for the Band. However, MPs cannot raise a team on Finals Night and E Street Band will take their place on Wednesday 17th April at Formby Cricket Club at Finals/Presemtation Evening.

Merseyside Feeny Cup Quarter-Final
Our league’s only representative Wings beat Aigburth Swans of the Liverpool League 41 - 27 to reach the semi-finals and final to be played on 1st May.
