Home Match Night: Monday

Originally the Bold Arms, the team moved to the Zetland in 1992 as the Zetland ZXBs. From 1993 known simply as the Zetland. In 2003 moved to the Shelbourne and knnown as Valentinos. In October 2006 moved to Scarisbrick Hotel and to the present venue in January 2012.

In recent years the team has enjoyed its most successful period ever culminating in 2000 with three trophies: Division 1, the Don Standing Cup and MQL's Feeny Cup.

Radio Quiz Champions
CHURCHTOWN, the mother of Southport, became the brains of Southport, when the Bold Arms Quiz team won the prestigious Merseyquiz Trophy. Pictured is Jenny Collins of Radio Merseyside presenting Bernie Blaney (team captain) with the winner's cup. Licensee Mr Dave dobson told the Visiter, "I'm very proud of the Bold quiz team because as far as I know this is the first time the trophy has been out of Liverpool."
